In today’s business environment, virtual teams are becoming the norm as more workers opt to telecommute and organizations work to leverage distributed talents around the world. According to research, virtual teams, if managed well, can dramatically improve employee productivity and outperform co-located teams. Yet, leading an effective virtual team requires specific leadership skills. Join this open forum to learn how to lead virtual teams that  successfully deliver value.

Note: We will be using the brainwriting technique in this session.

At the conclusion of this open forum, participants will be able to:
(1) demonstrate leadership skills to encourage collaboration across cultures, time zones, and multi-generational divide;
(2) apply communication tips to develop performance from afar;
(3) achieve an effective and functioning team in a virtual context.
