This presentation details an Italian project manager’s experience in leading a project in a big, Brazilian city. The team she had to manage was mainly composed of local people who had the goal of acquiring knowledge and skills about an Italian product. Both the project manager and the internal team had to reach mutual trust and commitment. The focus of this presentation is on cultural differences.


At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
(1) compare cultural differences between team members and various stakeholders;
(2) describe valuable skills to help manage intercultural teams and projects.
