#411 Linear Scheduling Methods: A Relevant Alternative for All Project Managers

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The critical path method  is today’s most-used scheduling technique in any kind of project. After a short literature review on Line of Balance technique and location-based scheduling, this presentation focuses on linear scheduling methods: How do they work and what benefits can they bring? Presenters will propose an application of linear scheduling and the tools that support it in iteration-based software projects, especially when leveling resources in stable teams is needed.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
(1) apply a linear scheduling model to a software project or, in general, to generic projects;
(2) describe the benefits of linear scheduling methods to resource management.
