#408 Project Managers, Change Makers: What Would You Do? Ethical Decision Making in Global Teams

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

A joint collaboration of the PMI Ethics Member Advisory Group (EMAG) and PMI Academic Resources, this session is based on a global survey (>3,400) of 10 scenarios describing common ethical quandaries and the response that best matched the respondent’s likely decision. Project managers will work in teams to examine the situation, the responses, and the ways in which culture influences preferred decisions. Participants will discuss the information that they believe is essential to arrive at a more informed ethical decision.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
(1) describe the relationship between values, ethics, and decision making;
(2) explain the impact and influence that ethnicity, culture, and other sociodemographic characteristics have on ethical issues.
