The ‘MERIL-DE Model’ integrates nine vital strategy execution components, namely: 1) Leadership, 2) Strategic Planning, 3) Project Management, 4) Alignment, 5) Performance Management (MERIL cycle of Measure, Evaluate, Report, Improve, and Learn ), 6) Drive, 7) Engagement, 8) Risk Management, and 9) Stakeholder Management. To apply this model, each organisation has to build its own unique, tailor-made ‘Stratex Car’—with the wheels representing project management.
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
(1) integrate the nine vital strategy execution components of the MERIL-DE conceptual model (project management being one);
(2) apply the MERIL-DE model by developing their own ‘Stratex Car,’ based on their calculated Total Strategy Execution Capacity.
